Well said, LSL!
"Lana" it sounds as if you have some unresolved personal issues that unfortunately detract from this story. Maybe you should try to work them out. Since you seem to be so knowledgeable, it must have been tough for you to work with Mr. Lee. Let's hope you're happier now.
As suspected, Lana did not really have any pertinent information to add to the story. She has chosen not to provide contact information so that her accusations could be judged for accuracy in the light of reality. I suppose it is time to move on to other stories.
How easy it is for some anonymous poster to express their opinions behind this veiled cloak of secrecy. What does Lana feel that she knows about this that the reported doesn't? What does it serve to print Mr. Lee's phone number? Has she contacted Mr. Lee herself? It sounds as if someone is feeling a need to vent at another person's expense. Should Lana list her number so that others can contact her to better understand her position? It seems only fair. Everyone should also remember, this is a newspaper article written from notes with the reporter able to pick and choose what is written. It may not be fair to both sides or either side.
Re: “African-American neighborhood stands in the path of Cary's growth”
Well you certainly profess to be quite knowledgeable about Cary staff. They are fortunate to have such an altruistic watchdog looking after their affairs. We should all be so lucky. Congratulations in your current job and I wish you well and continued success in your civic endeavors.
