It's unfortunate, but the students who care are going to have to become more aggressive even if it means contributing to a center themselves. How much do you care? Another tactic would be to look at who gives money to the campus and approach more liberal donors. let them help students pressure the university. also, we in the community should really exert pressure ourselves. we should write to university but we should donate funds!
