Re: “Evan Rachel Wood returns

How lucky for the Triangle that we have such a talented and dedicated family in the Woods. I also think "Walk in the Grass" is such a wonderful sentiment and one that I plan to adopt as a personal mantra. I can't wait to see the Saturday performance and wish the troupe a wonderful time in France!

Re: “Where are Durham's billboards? Find them on the Indy's map

On a recent trip through Charlotte, I was horrified when I saw these hideous flashing billboards. These are ugly, dangerous and they dwarf the scenery around them. Please let our political leaders know that you do NOT want these in Durham. Let's stand united with our neighbors in Raleigh, Cary and Chapel Hill and say NO to electronic billboards.

Re: “Durham: Cool, gritty, grand and growing

I've lived in Durham since 1988 and I ADORE it. Here a just a few more wonderful things about the place: #1 Heavy traffic is always going the other way at rush hour! #2 Duke Gardens: free and beautiful. #3 Affordable houses loaded with character (I could never have found my charming 1920s bungalow for the price in Chapel Hill or Raleigh). #4 Free outdoor music concerts at American Tobacco and Brightleaf every month (check their websites). #5 American Tobacco Trail for cyclists and strollers #6 Wellspring (ok, Whole Foods) Grocery: great sushi, "everything" food bar With our population growing by leaps and bounds, you better make your move before the secret gets out!
