I was worried when I heard that Joe & Jo's, the successful, friendly, downright homey neighborhood bar downtown was going to become a new "Irish" bar.
I worried that J&J's unpretentious decor, delicious and moderately priced food, and overall funky atmosphere would disappear forever in a haze of faux "authentic" church relics, overpriced and underwhelming trend food, and a sterile, generic, infuriating design.
And you know what? I was right.
