Look people. We've been fracking in Texas for many decades. When I was a child, I went with my dad to a frack job out in central Texas and observed the process. That was more than half a century ago. The process is viable and effective for "tight sands" and for the reworking of older fields that retain potential. It's mainly a process of pumping hot, soapy water down a hole... much like what you'd do to clean an oil spill off your driveway. It causes the oil to bead and flow. It's a good process under the right conditions. And, with oil prices at their current level, it's economical.
The environmentalist hand-wringing I see here is the standard fearmongering one has come to expect. The drinking water here is fine, thank you. And the methane comes from "contented cows" chewing their cud... as usual. Natural process. If you're still worried about global warming from methane, then you'll have to take on the ranchers, not the oilmen. But be warned. Both tend to shoot back... and better than you can.

It may be a "bumpy ride" for you. For loyal Americans, though, it's a matter of our national deliverance from evil. Therefore, us "far right, tea partying, nation wrecking" American citizens will be out in force... to see to it that the leftist degeneracy never rises again in our children's lifetimes.

Dear Otto: Tre is neither an idiot nor a coward. He's been standing up for victimized children in North Carolina for years now. Because of that, his background in films and television, his brothers' careers in law enforcement and through his own good reputation, it was only natural that those technicians off the set of "Hounddog" came to him first. It is to my shame, as with many adults these days, that I didn't understand and take up the sordid challenge of Hollywood's exploitation of children much earlier. The low-life principals of that film might have gotten away with it clean. I (and many others) ARE now aware and Deborah Kampmeier & Company WERE rebuffed largely due to his efforts. He deserves the praise of every decent American who cares about the hearts and souls of our children. That includes Dakota Fanning, Cody Hanford and Isabelle Fuhrman.
