Depleted Falls Lake
Larger image • Falls Lake, the main water source for Wake County, is depleted to 46 percent of its storage capacity—leaving Wake County residents with about 122 more days of water. As the seriousness of the drought in the Southeast intensifies, Wake County has instigated mandatory water restrictions to help conserve its shrinking water supply.
