We don't love them because they're cute.
(Although they are.)

We love our pets because they teach us, they make us laugh, and they stick with us. Like family should.

Share with us your pet tales (true and unpublished stories in 500 words or less, with photo if possible), and we'll print our favorites in our August 1 Dog Days of Summer issue.

Send to:

  • dprickett@indyweek.com (put "Dog Days" in the subject line)

  • Dog Days, Independent Weekly, PO Box 2690, Durham NC 27715

Please include what town you live in.

Deadline is July 20.
