Re: “Raleigh landlord Bhola Gupta arrested for allegedly breaking into his own house, stealing tenants’ stuff

Perry Edwards who own the rooming house on 1209 E Jones St., Raleigh, NC, 27601 needs to be investigated. I been hearing bad complaints about that rooming house, so I decided to check it out. When you rent from Perry Edwards he have to see your social & ID. You have to give him the rent money and deposit. The rent that I have to give was 450 plus the deposit which was 50. It's severely mold in the bathroom, kitchen and the very last bedroom. That rooming house have bed bugs and roaches really bad. Perry rents to anybody. Crackheads, drunks, criminals, child predators, etc. He have a racist couple stay in the second front room attacking black women. He knows this but don't care. He just only cares about receiving his money nothing else. He doesn't give no rent receipts. He just come by the rooming house to pick up the rent money or you have to come to his office that looks like a drug spot. He pays off health inspectors just to pass him If he gets reported. And after the person reports him, he will kick them out and throw a restraining order on them and lie saying the renter never stayed there. And what makes it so bad he is an ex cop that use to work for Raleigh Police Department. The cops came over to the rooming house not to long ago. They came to the rooming house around 3 in the morning. I don't know what for. But I decided to be nosey. The cops are really racist over here as well. When how the cops was treating people of minorities over here. I felt sick to my stomach. I never heard so much racial slurs coming out cops mouths like this. I just lefted after that before taking pictures of the rooming house. I seen all I need to see and experience for myself. Perry Edwards needs to get put in jail.
