I usually don't take the time to post reviews, good or bad, but this place needs to be shared! I can't think of a better place I'd like to go for lunch, dinner or just about any kind of entertainment. This place has it all. It seems this place is very clean, very well managed, thought out, with a specific goal in mind. Not just providing more than exceptional food, but providing an experience. The wait staff was pleasant, efficient, and on top of everything (even with what looked to be a full house) My wife enjoyed the Gouda Mac n Cheese, I had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo, my daughter polished off a plate of angel hair pasta (she says its the sauce that makes it), and my son loved his hand battered chicken tenders. Portions are very generous and priced just right. It would be safe to say that the PBO Roadhouse isn't the cheapest place in town, but is by no means expensive. We paid exactly what I would expect to pay for what we got. This place has got it all, after looking at the entertainment lineup there, we realized this place is the place to be. Whether you like live music, (any genre, big band orchestra to AC/DC cover bands!), live theater performance, or even comedy shows, this place has it all. We will definitely be making this our regular weekly dining destination. Very much looking forward to a night out there without the kids too! Did I mention they have a HUGE dance floor and a nice bar? If you haven't been there, you need to go.....tonight, tomorrow, (heck, go tonight and tomorrow!) ,or just as soon as you can get there! You're missing out!
The Joyful Jewel is one of two amazing art galleries in historic downtown Pittsboro, NC. Other venues in town also have art on display for for sale, Blue Dot Coffee, Angelina's Kitchen, and the Pittsboro Roadhouse's General Store, but that is not their primary business. The Joyful Jewel and Liquidamber are both in the block just north of Courthouse Circle, where most of, but not all of, the town's cool stores are. Though there are two art galleries, each is decidedly unique. Both carry items for under $5 and over $500 and every range in between.
The Joyful Jewel is owned by Mariah Wheeler, a versatile artist who works with fused glass, metals and beads creating unique necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants. She is also a mentor to a number of artists, and a keen supporter of the arts. The Joyful Jewel features over 160 artists from North Carolina. Photography. Pottery. Sculpture. Woodwork. Paintings. Poetry and other books by local authors. Stained Glass. Unique clothing. Art from recycled items.
For any who love to have unique and original work. For any who love color and variety, the Joyful Jewel is one of the must-visit stores of the greater Triangle area of North Carolina.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the freshness and flavors! The portions are great and you can't go wrong with a salsa bar! Whatever you get, try the guacamole! It's phenomenal!
I've been in the restaurant industry for 17 years, working at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and after dining at Chef's Palette their service and hospitality exceeded my expectations. The Chicken Francese was totally delicious! Great place.
Best restaurant in Pittsboro!
About Sharp Nine: Durham, NC has another "major, extraordinary" thing now that brings a date night or a family night the flavor of New Orleans, DC, NYC! Do not let Sharp Nine Gallery go another week without you checking it out! This intimate, wonderful music spot, reminds me of Snug Harbor in NOLA. Btw, You can buy a glass of wine or bottled water or BYOB. Every seat in the small house is hot!
:) :) Yummus!
Nice place to hear old country music and original songwriting. Eric Strickland always puts on a good show there. In addition; you can bring your kids along. kid 12 and under were free. Come on out and give this family friendly venue a try.
We have loved these guys for 18 years. Good, consistent food, served by friendly and thoughtful waiters. The staff turnover has been slow, which means a lot to me. This is our default eatery.
A great selection of oyster's and a menu that is always changing, and outstanding service, what else can you ask for. food is delicious also a great wine and beer selection.
The Green Room is such a unique place to spend time. Not only do they have one of the best beer selections on the East Coast, the clientele are people of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, economic backgrounds, and creeds. The only unifying factor between us all is a dedication to dignity and honor that is gently aided by the wonderful housemen. If there were more places in Durham that could sustain this type of active diversity, we'd be a better city.
The yeast doughnuts are to die for and the fresh baked bagel sandwiches are erfect. The lines might be long, but the wait is worth warm doughnuts, and a perfectly fried egg on my bagel. Extra bonus? the dinosaur table signs to have the correct food delivered and the eclectic mix of coffee mugs.
Beautiful Masjid..diverse and nice people..you will feel warming and welcoming there...great programs and spiritual place..love it.
My rating may be biased because I am in the show! Just wanted to let you know the map is wrong, it will take you to the wrong place. How can we fixed this? here is the correct map:

Mad Hatter's Bakeshop is a great place for weekend brunch. Their daily omelets are always fresh and delicious. If you're in a sandwich mood, go for the avocado BLT. It's seriously amazing!
My husband and I had them make our cakes for our wedding shower, and they were fantastic. We got chocolate cake with mocha and hazelnut mousse.
Absolutely delicious! The oysters and scallops are fantastic, not to mention, the mac and cheese and white chocolate bread pudding. It was all great! Our waiter was friendly and knowledgable about all the dishes on the menu and the fresh selections of the day. He offered great recommendations and informed us that all of their seafood was no more than 48 hours old.
Amazing food no matter what you have a taste for! I love Brigs!
I hope they will keep serving seafood along with Vegan options!
