Great music. A bit disorganized. The location was easy to get to, but too small for the amount of people that showed up for this event. Also, not enough tables and chairs to accommodate all the people that paid to sample the delicious authentic Latin food. However, for just 3 bucks, it was a pretty nice event.
I wish it wasn't "Moral" Mondays... I guess "Ethical Mondays" doesn't have the same ring to it, but we should be getting away from religion altogether... not just seeking to replace ultra-conservative thought with moderate-conservative thought.
The idea of asking for help/guidance from an imaginary friend is so counter-intuitive... seriously, no one would be christian if they hadn't been exposed to it and convinced of it (and you don't have to convince people of the truth).
It's not that hard to brainstorm and realize what's constructive to society and what's destructive, you don't need a book for that, just common sense, logic and the scientific method.
The only thing that will achieve change is action, which even the religious have realized: praying hasn't achieved anything, so now they're praying at protests... now let's move one step further and remove the prayer and keep the protests.
I'm not saying we should be uncivil, I just want peace that's not rooted in delusion. Religion allows people to think they're 100% right in something, which is dangerous... it allows people to stop thinking, growing, and challenging themselves to improve as human beings.
Well, you know, institutionally, we've probably written about Pipe 123,456,789 times, and this section has a very limited word count. Maybe next time.
thanks for ignoring pipe. What, they don't have curled up mustaches and drink pabst. Or they're just too old?
Thanks, virginiascare. We've updated the showtime.
Clarification....Doors at 8pm, show at 9.
I saw it this weekend. Phenomenal performances integrating theatre with circus. Beautiful setting, LaFarm bakery and a creperie food trucks make it insanely great. Bring a jacket, lawn chairs and blanket and celebrate the best NC has to offer. You won't be disappointed.
Hilarious n entertaining. Biggest surprise was the excellent physical comedy. The lead actress in particular was so funny! The circus performers and actors who became circus performers add a whole other layer to the show. Super-fun!

And yes as I go back and read my response I do notice the plethora of typos and misspellings. In my haste they escaped me but please base the response on the context and not my crappy typing.
