Tickets are $40, not $26 for Col Bruce Hamton. Way overpriced for Triangle
Chaz is great! If he doesn't have it, he'll get it for you! Shopped there for years! You can't go wrong!
This venue has moved--it's now at 900 E Club Blvd, inside the Ample Storage Facility.
I usually don't take the time to post reviews, good or bad, but this place needs to be shared! I can't think of a better place I'd like to go for lunch, dinner or just about any kind of entertainment. This place has it all. It seems this place is very clean, very well managed, thought out, with a specific goal in mind. Not just providing more than exceptional food, but providing an experience. The wait staff was pleasant, efficient, and on top of everything (even with what looked to be a full house) My wife enjoyed the Gouda Mac n Cheese, I had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo, my daughter polished off a plate of angel hair pasta (she says its the sauce that makes it), and my son loved his hand battered chicken tenders. Portions are very generous and priced just right. It would be safe to say that the PBO Roadhouse isn't the cheapest place in town, but is by no means expensive. We paid exactly what I would expect to pay for what we got. This place has got it all, after looking at the entertainment lineup there, we realized this place is the place to be. Whether you like live music, (any genre, big band orchestra to AC/DC cover bands!), live theater performance, or even comedy shows, this place has it all. We will definitely be making this our regular weekly dining destination. Very much looking forward to a night out there without the kids too! Did I mention they have a HUGE dance floor and a nice bar? If you haven't been there, you need to go.....tonight, tomorrow, (heck, go tonight and tomorrow!) ,or just as soon as you can get there! You're missing out!
The Joyful Jewel is one of two amazing art galleries in historic downtown Pittsboro, NC. Other venues in town also have art on display for for sale, Blue Dot Coffee, Angelina's Kitchen, and the Pittsboro Roadhouse's General Store, but that is not their primary business. The Joyful Jewel and Liquidamber are both in the block just north of Courthouse Circle, where most of, but not all of, the town's cool stores are. Though there are two art galleries, each is decidedly unique. Both carry items for under $5 and over $500 and every range in between.
The Joyful Jewel is owned by Mariah Wheeler, a versatile artist who works with fused glass, metals and beads creating unique necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants. She is also a mentor to a number of artists, and a keen supporter of the arts. The Joyful Jewel features over 160 artists from North Carolina. Photography. Pottery. Sculpture. Woodwork. Paintings. Poetry and other books by local authors. Stained Glass. Unique clothing. Art from recycled items.
For any who love to have unique and original work. For any who love color and variety, the Joyful Jewel is one of the must-visit stores of the greater Triangle area of North Carolina.
best steak sub this side of Philly
LOVE LOVE LOVE the freshness and flavors! The portions are great and you can't go wrong with a salsa bar! Whatever you get, try the guacamole! It's phenomenal!
You've got to come see the show tonight! Jason Herring & The Mystery Plan, The High Divers, and The Weird Pennies (of Raleigh). Show starts at 9!!
Ally is a wonderful server. I love coming here!
Food was pretty good. Service was the worst. Salad came after main dinner. Ask for bread 3 times . Never got it . Will not go back again!!
I've been in the restaurant industry for 17 years, working at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and after dining at Chef's Palette their service and hospitality exceeded my expectations. The Chicken Francese was totally delicious! Great place.
Best restaurant in Pittsboro!
About Sharp Nine: Durham, NC has another "major, extraordinary" thing now that brings a date night or a family night the flavor of New Orleans, DC, NYC! Do not let Sharp Nine Gallery go another week without you checking it out! This intimate, wonderful music spot, reminds me of Snug Harbor in NOLA. Btw, You can buy a glass of wine or bottled water or BYOB. Every seat in the small house is hot!
I have some background in art, mostly figure-drawing with black chalk creating images with value. I took what was described as a beginner's painting class hoping to learn some basic concepts of combining color. My understanding is you learn by doing and exploring. Nicole was not kind nor helpful to say the very least. She is abrupt and speaks to you in a condescending manner. If you go don't make any mistakes, she will call you out and ridicule you in front of the other students. Her patience and people skills are lacking.
Very Unprofessional Field Agent, I have owned severalrental properties in Durham County over the past 9 years and I've only had to dealwith neighborhood improvement services only three times. My first two dealings with neighborhood improvement services were very straightforward in the field agent was very communicative, very tactful and was focused on resolution vs conflict.unfortunately my most recent dealing with Durham County neighborhood improvement services has been nothing short of a complete headache.repairs were done in a timely fashion, yet the second inspection done by the field agent Michael Vaughn did not note any of the work as completed, also to note the second inspection was scheduled the day before Thanksgiving which was very inconvenient for both my tenants as well as myself. To make matters worst,I received over 9 letters from Durham County neighborhood improvement services stating the exact same thing regarding the second inspection. The gist of which did not reflect any of the work that had been completed, its in my professional opinion that writing anyone 9 certified letters is harassment and a complete waste of city funds.as a property owner I understand the importance of combating slumlords and providing a quality environment for tenants, but criminalizing property owners as slumlords is counterintuitive to increasing quality housing in Durham County.
Great dive bar. Solid bartenders. If you are expecting a slightly dirty place, with pool tables and a layer of funk, you will not be disappointed. Not a top 40 kind of spot, more like a juke joint. Great place for last call or a pregame before the Cave. Very diverse crowd with lots of service folks from nearby restaurants. Also on the list for late night random stops. Speakers outside in back are a nice touch.
:) :) Yummus!
If this is the best Aesthetic Surgeon in Raleigh in 2012 & 2013, why did his business fail in 2014?
Genuinely providing excellent patient service with integrity and competence never fails.
Gary lee- nothing will ever compare to the blue bayou, the atmosphere and the music. You were an excellent boss and we had a great crew. I was sad to have to go back north, and was very sad to hear the bayou closed....although you worked very hard and it was finally your turn to relax and enjoy retirement... The bayou was, by far my most favorite job......I think of you often!!!!!
