Heh. His peers refer to him as "void"

Re: “Moogfest Announces Nona Hendryx, Moor Mother, SURVIVE, and More in First Wave of Programming

It will be interesting to see where the "protest" theme goes. Will they be collaborating with local protest groups like Durham in Defiance, Beyond Policing, or SURJ, to see what progress could be made on issues that are important to local activists? Or defining "protest" in a different way to avoid engaging with controversial issues?

Re: “Movie Review: Passengers Proves a Bad Ending Can Ruin an Otherwise Good Movie

I dont know what why all the complaints about the ending. Its not horrible and its the most obvious ending - but it would have been much better and more interesting if Sean's suggestions were followed about their children and screen shots from their life.

Re: “Poisoning our pets

There are several pesticide and insecticides that are harmful for our pets. You must have heard of various instances that pets accidently poisoned by common pesticides. So, you need to more careful with their health as our lack of knowledge may endanger their life and may even lead to their death. Seek advice from your Vet and buy whatever you want for your pet from Thanks for bringing some awareness for regarding such hazardous issues.

Re: “Floyd McKissick Jr. disciplined by N.C. Bar

I have actually had numerous business dealings with Floyd Mckissick Jr over the years. I can truly say that I have never met anyone as pathologically mean, dishonest, and petty as this guy. Something in the man is terribly broken-- to the point that, despite his utterly corrupt character, he's more pitiable than anything else. Still, god help us should he ever win significant political office.

Re: “How My Childhood Love of Elvis Taught Me to Question Authority and Cherish the Blues

FYI, the version of Hound Dog that Elvis recorded had different lyrics. They had been changed by Freddie Bell (and the Bellboys). Elvis asked Freddie for permission to record his version and that's what he did. Elvis learned of this version when he was in Las Vegas performing at the New Frontier in spring 1956. Freddie Bell was performing in the Sands lounge, which was across the street. It was Elvis' back up band that discovered this version and told Elvis about it. Elvis did know of Mama Thornton's version. The best example of singing both versions was his performance of the song on the Milton Berle show. I suggest listening to Freddie's version first, then check out the Berle version.

Re: “Five Things We Want to See from New Governor Roy Cooper

@Twilight Zone - I would just like to correct you on one thing. There was ZERO progress made under One Term Pat. He actually set the state back a lot. You should hug someone today to alleviate some of that anger you have.

Re: “Second Video Emerges From Yesterday's Rolesville High School Incident

It seems all over the United States of America that Black children when ever cops encounter them for any reason, the behaviour of the cops are always abusive. Why so much savagery against our children?

Re: “Five Things We Want to See from New Governor Roy Cooper

Power certainly did not devolve to the people under McCrory and the NCGOP. The right wing was too busy undermining the US and State Constitution. The NCGA moved to enshrine itself forever without a public hearing or input. Roy Cooper must challenge Phil Berger and Tim Moore and the rest of the GOP cabal. They are kleptocrats who are supporting a boorish, uncouth autocrat who believes he can set policy with Tweets.

Are you familiar with the term "subset"? I know it's bourgeois fashion to forget this, but there are, in fact, others.

Re: “Five Things We Want to See from New Governor Roy Cooper

Left-liberals learn absolutely nothing. 1) The only meaningful priorities are the two LAST on your list. and 2) Exactly where on this list is the material welfare of working people? This has really become a completely worthless rag.

Re: “The Human Relations Commission Issues a Scathing Report About the Durham County Detention Facility

The anonymous "Twilight Zone" Anti-American
wants to keep ['those'] people
in jail without trial and
(duhh...) "Cash is all ["these thugs"] have
from their drug deals
and drug dealing friends.
I say let 'them' stay in & rot."

Duhh; cash-flush drug dealers and their friends
can pay cash bail to get out; violent thugs have
high bail
for public safety reasons.

Bail was increased for non-violent misdemeanors
(not for "thugs"]:
to keep people in jail before trial, because
Anti-Americans didn't want "revolving doors" for
"subhuman" "animals"
("untermenchen" was the Nazi term for their racial minorities)

Not everyone jailed is guilty and
Not everyone guilty is jailed.

"the current system works to keep defendants in jail
solely because they cannot afford their cash bond,"
the report reads. "Even just a few days of incarceration
or pre-trial detention can have severe consequences, such as
job loss and eviction..."

which forces the innocent to plead guilty to get out of that "sh!t-hole"*
& punishes the innocent who refuse to plead guilty.

*"No Pity" (another anonymous Anti-American" called jail
a filthy "sh!t-hole" & every cell I was in (about a dozen)
had no toilet paper, & all had sh!t on the walls
between the bed & the toilet
and an inmate who complained about it was beaten bloody,
and (as a complainer) jailers were told to
"give him the special treatment" & after I complained,
(group punishment) I was locked in a cell with 6 others
who had no breakfast of lunch and told "no dinner either,
because of him" (no food or drink for more than 24 hours (except
water from the back of the toilets where other inmates wash their socks
and underwear and literally "sh!tty" hands) and
the guards set up a
little gladiator contest for their sadistic amusement
as a little 'going away party' after the Judge ordered me released;

inmates STILL complain about no toilet paper,
and fecal contaminated water & food-handling surfaces including trays
is a public health hazard.

I was in there, by the way, because, with paramedic training, I intervened
gently, but firmly, when a guy with a Lexus was strangling a woman: lifted
her off her feet by her neck, shaking her; could've killed her.

I was summoned as a witness in her case against him and
he said I assaulted him
(even the cop had refused to arrest me when he saw the bruises on my neck
from the strangler who had a LONG list of assaults on women and drug charges)
The thug with the Lexus had money; he didn't go to jail;
I did;

Anonymous Anti-American idiots/neo-Nazis like "No Pity" and "Twilight Zone"
need to read the Constitution and get a clue.
