Love these ideas. I think everyone can make small (or big) changes to add to their lives in a positive way. For the past few years I've made a list of "Things to do in 201-". I have next year's list of "16 things to do in 2016" ready to go! I love marking things off my Bucket List, making healthier changes to my life, and getting off my butt. A few friends have started to make lists too. We keep tabs on each other's lists and motivate each other to finish as many things as possible. By sharing my list with people it holds me accountable to get out there and do things I've never done before.
Waraji, yes....I can't believe Sushi Blues and Cow Fish made the list. Harris Teeter has better sushi that these both of these places. Cool atmosphere and Sushi Blues and Cow Fish, but not good fish! Try Geneki in Holly Springs, just as good as Waraji!
These are beautiful and I like the concept, but what's to stop thieves from jacking these with the occupant inside or outside? They are wide open and less agile than bicycles. So, I get laughed at or crushed by an SUV or have my transport stolen in Durham?

If the neighbor out of courtesy asks before setting off Fireworks, he expects you with the same coutesy to agree.
If I want to keep my part-time retail job, I can't have any visible ones. As a recent Breast Cancer survivor, I'm kind of wanting to be able to have some visible ones if I feel like it.
So sad--and ticked off--about Mark Van Ness' experience here in Raleigh. This town can and should do MUCH better than that.
Tattoos have crossed over into the mainstream and they're not going back. This is a legitimate form that is unique among the visual arts, and it deserves--and is beginning to get--the respect afforded to drawing, photography, printmaking, etc. Raleigh would do well to welcome it with open arms.
Memories are made if this. Bless you
I would love to see it. Where can I find it?
I love swimming in the Eno quarry!! Please tell me where the crystal clear quarry is located! I've heard about it from other people and I'm dying to see it! I'm a little obsessed with clear water.
Pine Sol kills fleas, ticks, & other pests as well. I treat my yard in early spring with a pesticide but then follow with monthly Pine Sol treatments. It does not hurt grass, plants, or flowers.
Another pestisize called "permethrin" kill bugs but it also kill cats. Advertisers of "permethrin-10%" claims it is animal safe. but no sellers on eBay nor Amazon.com post any warnings on their listings for cats.

Virgil, blame the website! It's duplicatepposting & I can't erase the duplicate...
J.P., If you hate to be a complainer then why are you repeating yourself?
I hate to be a complainer, but the format for the "Best of" (including the ballot without multiple choice options, etc) is awful. I seriously have to click every. single. category to view the winners?! No "expand all" option? Even a table with multiple columns would work a lot better.

Loved your story. When I was a kid we'd go to Bethlehem, PA to visit my grandparents. The alleys behind their row house on Arcadia Street were a source of endless adventure. Nowadays, it's my 14 year old daughter who always wants to explore the alleys in Durham. While technically not an alley the cut through to Bull City Burger by the Methodist Church is great at night. We're always expecting those awesome spires to get struck by lighting and unleash legions of tormented souls.
These comments have been extremely useful. Forgive me if I missed the answer in this discussion but I noticed that Sevin is available in different percent strengths. I am interested in dusting my large breed dogs (both more than 70lbs) with Sevin as it seems that even the most expensive and "canine-friendly" treatments continue to fail and I can't bear to watch them suffer any longer. Can anyone suggest what percent Sevin is most suitable?
I would be grateful for any help.
