Re: “Bottle shops

Thanks for the note, mccjeff. It's been added to the list.

Re: “Bar Lusconi: downtown Durham's new hotspot

Wow incredibly expensive drinks in what sounds like an unfinished location. Totally worth it to talk to some bartender who is apparently cool.

Re: “Toast the Triangle: New brewpubs, distilleries and bars

Michael, thanks for catching that. The online text should have been changed from print; it has been now. This is the introduction to our DISH cover package; the "following pages" are the Related Stories linked here.

Re: Dish Bottle Shops
Nearly a comprehensive list of Raleigh bottle shops with one glaring exception.

Ridgewood Wine & Beer, 1214 Ridge Rd, 919-832-5232, www.ridgewoodwineandbeer.com

In the spirit of disclosure I am not affiliated with Ridgewood although I could be considered a regular. Thanks for your attention to this unintentional oversight.

Re: “Toast the Triangle: New brewpubs, distilleries and bars

Is there more to the article? It talks about "following pages", but there aren't any.

Re: “Best of the Triangle 2013: Readers' Choice poll winners and finalists

This may be irrelevant but I wish that this list was more focused on local businesses to the Triangle and did not include major chains and corporations.

Re: “Best of the Triangle 2013: Readers' Choice poll winners and finalists

There is something wrong with your game store category since game stop is the only store on that list that sells video games and the others don't. It should be two different categories or just ignore the the video game stores(since play and trade didn't even get a mention).

Indeed it was, Christian. Thanks, it's been corrected.

The link to Bicycle Chain is wrong.

Re: “Best of the Triangle 2013: Readers' Choice poll winners and finalists

I'm confused regarding the best tailor entry.
It's mentioned that Lee's tailors won, and that it has various locations. Two different websites are listed: www.leetailors.com
www.leestailorshop.com
Both of these appear to be separate businesses, with very similar names, and both claim on their respective website to have won the award numerous times in the past. However, complicating matters is that there is a third website: http://www.leetailorshop.com/ belonging to what appears to be yet another separate store (which also claims the awards) that is listed on your website as having won the award in 2010, 2011, and 2012. Are these all the same chain? If they are separate, which was given the award?

Awesome to see Fiesta Grill defend their title again! Hard to argue with Tasu/Shiki Sushi either, though I voted for Akai Hana. Five Guys taking the Fries category was no surprise... but I am totally mystified how Maple View Farms didn't even get a mention in the Frozen Dessert category.

Re: “An explosion of places to find affordable bicycles in the Triangle

The Durham Bike Co-op is mentioned twice: in the story itself and in the sidebar.

No mention of the Durham Bike Co-op? File under "Glaring Omissions"...

Re: “Will the ELF, from Durham-based Organic Transit, save the planet?

Great story, but what's a " a goat-patrol concern"?

How I would like one of these things. I've wanted an electric car for a long time and it's still very expensive and I still want solar electric on my house which is also very expensive. Darn.

This is an amazing story. I predict this thing will sell like the proverbial hotcakes. Just wait till somebody interviews Seinfeld on TV. The best part is it's made in NC. I want one.

Re: “Seeing Durham through the bottom of a glass

Some more to add to this list. Arguably the coolest bar in town, The Republic, located between Whisky and Mateo. A new bar, Bar Lusconi, just opened downtown. Wine bars are missing from this list. Two that come to mind are West End Wine Bar and Six Plates. G2B has some of the most esoteric beer selections in town.
