Dumite, you seem pretty worked up about something, but I am really not seeing what could be upsetting you. Maybe I think differently--I grew up in different countries, and long ago too, when things were quite different.
You keep insisting that there was something (what?) to be done by school officials (which ones?) using their wisdom (how?) in such large quantities that even the smartest teenagers can't have (Mayday! SOS!?) about something (what?) that was going on.
That's a lot to answer after having already said so much, but it would help me understand.
Trump+Christie+McCrory = Larry+Curly+Moe
Homicides up by a third; now they plan to use information and "intelligence
to go after people who are committing crimes as opposed to"
going after pedestrians violating secret fashion police rules, color
of clothes, hoodies & hats in rain & sun, skin-color/race & sex:
undocumented racial profiling
harassment of pedestrians in DPD's unposted "target areas". Sounds intelligent.
Go after criminals instead of non-criminals. Good.
I saw them in 2006 with Andrew and they were still HOT!
Don't forget that by -invite only dinner at the Governors office that won't be discussed attendees included Dirty Duke & DEQ.

Senator Jackson has ignored the Croatan Indians causing retaliation. His corporate logo is a coon eating a watermelon
Great article, thorough and well-researched. Plus oral histories are a cool way to tell a first-hand authentic story. Too bad Katharine didn't want to be interviewed, but what can you do.
Great review! Fans of Decision Height and the Women's Theatre Festival may also want to check out The ArtsCenter's interview with WTF's Ashley Popio and Emily Rose White: http://theartscenter-blog.tumblr.com/post/148297674568/the-womens-theatre-festival-presents-decision
Please do not forget that the "Hot" CD was also a state of the art "ECD" - enchanced audio CD complete with an interactive presentation.
Here's an explanation from at 1996 NC news story
Here's a link to the documentary that was made on the Zippers with the release of "Hot"
The Squirrel Nut Zipper being made in Cambridge
Saw them on the 4th of July, 1995 at Kenan Stadium perform the National Anthem and a few songs before the fireworks display. It was magical all around!

The republicans were voted into office in NC using the same voter laws they now want to change....Why are they afraid of voter fraud when it clearly does not exist except for the republicans..They are the only frauds I see.....They are afraid of voter revenge for all the crazy shit they have done so they try and rig the vote so they cant be voted out....They alll need to be voted out...They are sleazy crooks and used car salesman.....They lie they cheat and now they want to defraud the people of the right to vote....Lets hope 2016 sees a lot of them gone...especially that scum sucking dirtbag McCory..send him back to duke power thats who he really works for.
I kinda discovered the Zippers by accident while going through bins of CD's at Borders. (Remember CD's? Remember Borders?) The Inevitable had an interesting sound. Did I care that it had a sort of swing vibe? I did not. It had a few cuts that had an old-timey feel, but what I liked about it was that it sounded different. It wasn't quite like anything out there at the time. Of course, when Hot came out, I snapped it up immediately.
At the time, my daughter lived not too far from the actual Squirrel Nut Zippers factory in Cambridge, MA - the one pictured on the cover of Hot. It's smaller than you'd think... like the band's career, alas.
Swing, schming. The Zippers were unique, and I miss them.
“We got a little rule back home: if it's brown, drink it down; if it's black, send it back.“
“The more [early voting] sites we have, the more opportunities exist for violations.”
By that logic, the only way to eliminate fraud is to eliminate voting.
Burn 'em down, SELC.
