Thank you so much for the pictures J Received your separate email with the additional shot as well. I immediately forwarded them to my daughter (she lives in Atlanta). She responded back raving about it! And the ultimate compliment to your talent, she also said that the ring is so me! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your ability to take the thoughts & feel I had in my head and transform them into such a beautiful piece of art.
I would love to see any cuff bracelets you design along this line. My husband said that he would be happy for me to share them with him too! I think sometimes he struggles to capture my taste, but he wants to very much! He’s always very happy when I find something I really like.
It was fun for me to work with you on this project. You are such a wonderful & gifted artisan. Your spirit & ideas just flow! Thank you for sharing that gift. I’ll keep your husband in my prayers. I hope his procedure is a success.

I had the pleasure of seeing this production twice— once in NYC at the Westside Theatre/Upstairs, and again this past weekend in the Raleigh Memorial Theater production. Both productions were excellent, though venues are vastly different and, due to circumstances of the day, the Screwtape character was played by different actors in each one. Steven Hauck's (Max McLean's understudy) presentation in the July 4th NYC version was wicked and deliciously evil, fun, and intimate, which is the nature of the Westside Theatre. For this kind of show, theater in the small(-ish) is superb. But Max McLean's performance at the vastly larger and less intimate Raleigh Memorial carried all the necessary energy to reach out into the bigger venue. Still, I am glad of being seated relatively close to the performers. I am biased in thinking that distance may diminish some of the really fun visual impact of the piece, the impact that comes from seeing facial expressions along with the changes in mood, tempo, lighting, and body postures and attitudues—that constitute the main 'action' in this show. I would definitely see it again, a few more times. Very glad it came to Raleigh.

Kim Son has been our favorite "comfort food" spot for years, and it just keeps getting better. It's a family owned-business and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. The place is spotless, warm and cheery with a bit of a diner quality. But it also exudes a subtle French and Asian Vietnamese ambiance, from the delicate lace tablecloths and curtains to the subtropical flowers and bamboo lantern sconces. Every dish is beautifully presented and many are accompanied by fresh plates of crisp lettuce, julienned carrots and turnips, perfect bean sprouts, slices of lime, and large sprigs of Vietnamese basil. These get added by the diner to various soups and other dishes. One of the standards on the menu is a very good selection of pho or noodle soup (12 kinds on the menu - my favorite is pho tai with rare roast beef) . There are big selections of other dishes served with rice, vermicelli, or fried rice. An entire section of the menu is devoted to bamboo steamer meals. And there are 15 house specialties on the menu. My favorites are the dishes that come with skewers of grilled meat or shrimp wrapped around sugar cane, plates of vermicelli and vegetables, and a pile of super-thin rice paper that the eater dips into a hot bowl of water at the table and then fills with the other ingredients to construct spring rolls. Another unexpected pleasure is the special #40, fresh thick rice noodles that look like small accordion-folded clouds, arranged on a plate with crisp fried tofu,rich bean cakes, piles of salad veggies and a special ginger sauce. For the sweet tooth, there are about 30 flavors of bubble tea (total fun!) and the desserts are homemade. They brought us a free piece of coconut flan pie last time we ate there. Most of the dishes on the menu are under $10 and portions are very generous. There's beer and wine, too. And once you've been there, when you return you're welcomed like family.

I have had several custom pieces created at Kerry Catherine Jewelry over many years. My husband now enjoys buying jewelry for me because he trusts their knowledge, craftsmanship, quality and business dealings. Perhaps there was some misunderstanding on sellers part? My daughter married recently and the couple had their wedding rings created with KCJ and they are thrilled. Kerry made the process a very special part of their wedding memories.

We cannot get enough of this restaurant! David is an outstanding sushi chef! We frequent this place at least once a week! Service is always outstanding. Fish is amazingly fresh! Don't go anywhere else in the area for great sushi. Prices are great! Even better with the punch card that they offer! Scary Jerry, the Heikkido and MinWoo are some of our favorite rolls!

35 has a great selection, reasonable prices for both lunch and dinner.
The best part tho, is that '35' is my 2 grandson's (ages 3 & 10) favorite place...why? Because of the endlessness of their favorites, especially desert!
When Devon, now 10 was little, he always asked if we could go to the 'dark place' to eat, & now his little brother Conner asks the same question when they visit. My 17 yr old grandaughters love the food and love the dark place whenever they don't want to be seen with the old folks! it's a win-win all the way around.... 5 stars for all those reasons....and I LOVE their crisp, flavorful veggies.

Amazing room.
When approaching from outside the building I was awestruck by the large aesthetically pleasing mural incorporating the venue logo, lit up by multicolored LED spots contained within the walled in outdoor seating area.
The bar is beautiful with its relaxing lounge area- candle light with large bench covered in lots of pillows that traces the walls and there are many other comfortable chairs and coffee tables. The Bar is fully stocked with liquor and many local brews on draft (about 12 taps I think) plus there are even some wine selections.
Then I was drawn through the three inviting pillared arches welcoming me into the stage area. Across the room a large stage occupies the back wall. The sound is incredible- state of the art JBL line array system mixed from a Midas board. As one can't help but notice the impressive arsenal of lights that move and flash in all directions, fading from one scene to another- It is evident that no expense was spared in bringing the best possible live production quality I have ever seen in a triangle 300 capacity venue.

checked it out on my way to Baltimore this afternoon and I think I had the best service I have ever had in my life! I also ordered a cup of coffee and my server-which was outstanding and very hot- made me a fresh pot and brought me an ice water in the meantime (which I hadnt asked for but it was very refreshing while waiting for my coffee) I had the cherry bombs signature burger and it was the best burger I have eaten in my life. I travel to SC often and WILL be back on my way to (AND FROM) each trip. This place was fantastic!!!!!

Re: “Old Chapel Hill Road Park”
I don't know if I love this park just because it's close to my house, but I highly recommend checking it out. For me, the highlight is the New Hope Creek Trail and the easy access to it that's now afforded by the Old Chapel Hill Road Park. The trail has been there for years, but it was previously difficult to access and not well-maintained. Now, from the park, there's a paved asphalt path that dead-ends into the New Hope Creek Trail + the addition of way-finding signs (with trail mileage noted) and a bike rack if you ride your bike to the trail. For dog walkers, there are also plastic bag dispensers and trashcans in the park (not too far from the trail entrance).
The trail itself offers a really lovely hike with chirping birds and an old (but now repaired) boardwalk that weaves through the woods to carry you across muddy areas. There's also a new drop-in to the trail off of Old Chapel Hill Road just down from Githens Middle School (and connected to the middle school by a new sidewalk) - it's an extension of the aforementioned asphalt path and runs along the edge of the school next to the woods leading up to the new park. At this particular entrance, the path is packed sand (not asphalt - in case you're looking for it). I entered the trail/park from there after a 10 minute walk from my house, didn't even walk the full New Hope Creek Trail loop, and still clocked close to an hour and 1/2 long hike once I was back home.

I don't get it!! I went to Stella Mare's last week and it was super!! What's the problem? The food was great...inexpensive...the service was fine...I really like the little waitress; she's kinda new, but tries really hard to please everyone and I didn't hear anyone complaining about a single thing. I recommend this restaurant totally! I also enjoyed the live entertainment... not too loud and he plays all the old favorites on the keyboard ( great voice too!) I'll be back for sure!

I happened to come across Stella Mare's restaurant on the internet (when I was looking for a good pizza restaurant- I really hate fast food places for pizza!) but I couldn't tell if this restaurant was good enough to visit ...or not! There was this one single bad review...and then, quite a few great ones, so I was skeptical about the negative one...I decided to go there in person, and see for myself. I was quite pleased that I checked it out personally, because if I would have passed on it because of the bad review, I would have missed out on a fabulous experience!! ........Great service! The waitress was extremely pleasant and efficient and I made it a point to meet the owners, who were not anything like the bad review spoke of...(You can't get people any nicer than this!!) There was even great live entertainment to go with the superb food...in fact, I ended up getting more than just pizza, after I saw their great menu and low prices...I'm so glad I went... Honestly, I think you will be too!! I recommend it for a wonderful experience.

Lunch for under $10 for salmon, steak, soup, four different salads and a variety of desserts...this is the best kept secret in the Triangle.

a quick great meal made to order in under 10 min everytime. They have THE BEST literally, brisket as well as pork butt (standard pork bbq and is really shoulder) but the best ribs are at Jims famous ribs next to whole foods in chapel hill a short drive away. the q shack has limited seating so u may be eating on a picnic bench outside.

I LOVE this place! because of the distance we don't get to enjoy it but a few times a year but it is worth every dollar. I have only had one bad experience but that was due to a lack of communication, and the manger made up for it.

Are you looking for fun??? Katy's is a great place for fun. Good music and friendly people. No one is a stranger here. Like to dance? Put your dancing shoes on because you won't be sitting.
I went there my first time and had a great time will be returning when ever possible.
