Great veg bar menu. This is one of the only places in the area that has a solid vegetarian selection and doesn't charge through the nose. Solid, clean food. Head there for lunch and get the 2 veg chili dogs + fries. You can't beat the price. This bar is exactly what it should be - now go support them!

This is the best Italian I've had in Durham. I have come here many times, and never go home disappointed. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great too. Great outdoor seating area.

Have taken Adult Beg Aerial and Flamenco here. Both great experiences and fun teachers. I would go back. I recommend this place.

Kenny is fabulous. I tried three other salons after I moved to Durham last year. Two weren't bad, but certainly weren't great. Then I went to Posh and Kenny. My hair looks fabulous! He did a wonderful combination of highlights and lowlights and gave my hair much more life. I'll definitely be staying with Posh.

Great music but don't forget about the FOOD. When you get your full-rack babybacks and those divine french fries served on a large tray, you're in heaven! Impeccable staff. Great atmosphere. Families, old hipsters, academic types, bikers, it's all there. Finish off your ribs with a shooter of the best bread pudding on this planet. And how can you lose when you're located next to a tattoo parlor?

This place is exactly as advertised....the Social Crossroads of Chapel HIll. Food's good - they just won the Shrimp and Grit Throwdown in Chapel Hill - service is friendly and I when I was there last there was a wedding going on downstairs, their Back Bar was packed and we still got great service in the upstairs restaurant.

Local ingredient, handmade ice cream, phenomenal flavors, and the couple that runs it are really fabulous. I literally dream about the vietnamese coffee milkshake. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's actually the best ice cream ever.

What a pleasure it is to be the first Parlour fan to post a review of their product. It is, in a word, stunning. I have not yet had a flavor that I didn't think was first-rate, and the ones I tend to get regularly are some of the best I've ever had--particularly the salty butter caramel, which is in a class by itself. The toppings are as good as the ice cream: always fresh and, like the ice cream flavors, fantastically delicious. I'd also like to put in a good word for the proprietors, who are so friendly and professional that it would be a pleasure to support any endeavor they come up with. But in the meantime, I'm overjoyed to be a regular customer of Parlour. Whether you're a vegan or a traditionalist, whether it's time for a flavor combination you've never imagined or only a comforting single scoop and topping will do, Parlour is your taste buds' best friend.

The Haw River Ballroom is an amazing new performance space set in historic Saxapahaw, about 15 minutes or so from Chapel Hill & Carrboro. The venue itself is very visually arresting with exposed brick, artifacts from the original manufacturing space and enormously high ceilings. The acoustics are outstanding, and the artisan beers are great. What more could you ask for? It's wonderful to have such a compelling venue in this hip little village and judging from the artist's reaction that I've seen perform there, we're going to see bigger and bigger acts making the trek to the Haw River Ballroom.

Six of us went to Stella Mare on New Year's Eve (we made reservations). It was the best food, service, entertainment we could have wanted. We wanted to support a local restaurant and we have been frequenting the pizza side for a long time. My sister and brother-in-law (who is Italian) raved about the food and menu selection. The owner and his wife and his staff have always been very friendly to us. Sometimes I think the negativity comes from the customer's own attitude. Remember the Golden Rule, folks! As far as my family is concerned, this food is the best! Thank you, Stella Mare!

This is a VEG FRIENDLY BBQ place! They have local-tempeh sandwiches, fried tofu platters and the most awesome fried mushroom po-boy you will ever have outside of the big easy. The mushrooms are either oyster or shiitake, whatever they can get from the local mushroom farmers. I have never seen so many amazing veg options. As a vegetarian, this is one of my favorite places to take carnivores and one of my fav places to eat in general. Just writing this makes me drool a little.
