Transitioning from adolescence to adulthood is hard enough . . . imagine the obstacles for young people struggling with serious mental-health issues. Come out to this fabulous and fun event and support Josh's Hope to provide job- and life-skills training to young adults with mental illness.
The address is wrong. It's 119 W. Main St., Suite 300, Durham, NC 27701
Hi! I wanted to let readers of IndyWeek know that our address has changed! We are no longer in University Mall on Estes.
We are now located at:
370 East Main Street, Suite 130
Carrboro, NC 27510
This is beneath the new Hampton Inn in Carrboro, next to The ArtsCenter and Cat's Cradle.
The phone number is the same, so feel free to call us with any questions!
LOVE the products, and terrific service!
I have been to most of the markets in the area and we are truly lucky to have so many choices.
The amount of effort and cooperation between vendors and the managers to create these shopping options, can often go unnoticed by the customers who spend their Saturday mornings leisurely strolling the many venues. I am particularly impressed with the Wake Forest Farmers' Market because this group puts on their show with no corporate sponsors or municipal funding of any kind. It's just a 'organic' community of farmers, bakers, craft persons and musicians who team up and bang out a marketing experience that I find truly enjoyable each time I go. From the lively conversations between the vendors themselves and the often fascinating discourse that takes place when a patron asks a question about something that caught their eye.
Though sometimes a little rough around the edges and not as polished as some others in their peer group, the Wake Forest Farmers' Market stands alone in when it comes to my favorite way to start my Saturdays.
Best patio to eat and drink! Love the "How do you Q?" drink and The Uberwisconsin - grilled cheese!
If you love comic books, come to Ultimate. They have an incredible selection and a staff that not only loves to read comics, but love to share them with readers new and established. The store is incredibly nice and and their events are legend!
Great little record shop! And it's all due to Chaz being such a great host. Platters galore!

These guys are great! I have been here a lot, and always come home with a ton of great stuff. They have a very nice selection of comics, graphic novels, shirts, and novelties. I have a subscription box there, and it changed my life! Thanks Guys!!
Great selection, and Chaz's knowledge of music is unsurpassed. He makes incredible recommendations based on what you like. He hasn't missed a recommendation yet for me.
Great club! These girls are awesome! Especially Harley Sinnnnnnn!!!! Holla !!
Animall is Amazing! It sells quality products with profits going to support the cost of caring for its featured adoptive animals, and helps link all the local rescues, hosting adopathons and assisting with fundraising. Thank you to Jeremiah and the Animall!!
A great concept - what a wonderful addition to our learning process!
A brilliant idea! What every strong community needs!
My son is a student at Our PlayHouse in Chapel Hill, and we are thrilled to see another school open in Durham, where we live. He has had a phenomenal experience this year. I had worried that he would learn less or be frustrated with the rigidity of a "school day" after being home with me for five years. We've seen the reverse at Our PlayHouse; he has opened up exponentially, and his learning and his ways of learning have skyrocketed. I can't imagine a richer or more engaging environment for kids at this age. We are lucky!
Kenny is fabulous. I tried three other salons after I moved to Durham last year. Two weren't bad, but certainly weren't great. Then I went to Posh and Kenny. My hair looks fabulous! He did a wonderful combination of highlights and lowlights and gave my hair much more life. I'll definitely be staying with Posh.
The best antique shop around. They have quality antiques.
