Used to be awesome until Ziggy died and new management took over. Same name but culture and location changed, now it's more jazz like a suburban bar and grill with corn-hole on the patio. C-
Thanks, maniv. We've created a new listing at http://www.indyweek.com/indyweek/604_at_we…
You should update this listing. I believe this restaurant is called 604 at West Village and their website is: http://www.604westvillage.com/
This is the best Italian I've had in Durham. I have come here many times, and never go home disappointed. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great too. Great outdoor seating area.
There IS table service !!
Food was EXCELLENT !!
Garlic knots are LOADED with garlic and out of this world wonderful !!
Service was GREAT !!! (Millbrook location)
Decent food. Nice break from what I can have delivered. But $20 plus for a six of beer? I understand convenience and proceed despite the price. One time.
fresh ingredients, friendly staff.
Pomodoro is the best Italian restaurant there is around. The owners are Italian and you can definetly taste it when you have their food. The servers are great, and they have great drink specials at their new bar. It also looks like they are putting a patio at the front of the building. Cant wait!!! So if you are looking for the BEST Italian food you have to come to Pomodoro Italian Kitchen. You wont be disappointed.
Great Italian, superb service & wonderfully romantic entertainment on Monday & Tuesday nights!!!!
I beg to differ on the bad comments about Pomodoro. Anyone who knows the "true" meaning of Italian food would know that Pomodoro is as real as it gets. When you first walk in you start smelling the delicious smell of fresh tomato sauce and dont forget about the pizza, as good as New York but without the trip. Pomodoro has a great variety of Italian food on their menu and all the dishes I have tried are to die for!!!!!! If your looking for the best try Pomodoro in Durham on Hillandale Road. They even speak Italian!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best pizzas in NC and the service is friendly . Priced moderately . Try the nonna pie with fresh mozzarella and basil you'll go back for more. Loved it
food was mediocre at best and the service was a disgrace; dirty plates left on table through the meal, three courses on the table before the first was even finished and no attendance to drinks. Canned sauce (or if not, no one would want to claim it as coming from their hands), overcooked seafood and lazy presentation. Would never return.
This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. Its so nice to have a comfortable restaurant where you know the food and service will be outstanding each and every time you dine there. My husband and I are always coming up with something to celebrate so we can go there. Be ready to relax, unwind and enjoy.
The best suppa de pece (*) in town. The "doctore" is always funny. His partner is always very nice.
(*) I'm not sure of the spellings, is a soup with mussels, shrimps, fish, clams, calamari and linguini.
It takes forever to get the food. All I order was a salad.
good food the first time, went back today for lunch and was shocked at the bad attitude by the waitress there, ordered, took 10 min to get a drink, drank it all over the next 25 min,i never got a refill and waited over 40 min to never get my food, which never came, i only ordered 2 sub meals, exactly the same and the group of 4 that came in after us got the sub meals ...THE SAME SUB MEAL, philly steak, wow, i hope the owners learn how this girl is driving away business...good food, if you ever get it.
We've been going to Cinelli's in Cary since it opened. We LOVE the food and the prices are very reasonable. The portions are large and we always take home leftovers. If you're tired of the "chain" restaurants, this is the place to get your "pasta fix".
My wife and I had been hearing about this restaurant from our friends and we decided to try it. Since then The Gourmet Factory became our favorite restaurant in Raleigh. The restaurant is so great and the patio is so nice. The service is friendly. The pricing is more than reasonable, expect to get twice what you are paying for. Order delivery from these guys. Quick service and amazing flavors will surely please. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a great time.
Pomodoro Italian Kitchen is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is outstanding and the service is great. I will eat at another Italian restaurant again. When you eat there pizza its like if you were in New York. Definately worth trying!!!!!!!!!
I have ordered from this fine restaurant now for 4 days in a row! Yes, that is how good it is! They have friendly, professional, accommodating staff, and not to mention the food is delicious! Nothing you order from the Gourmet Factory will ever taste "out of the can" everything is fresh. Some entrees come with a free side salad which every time I get it is so good and well prepared and fresh that I cant believe they give this too you for free! The prices are fantastic too, where they could be charging you a whole lot more....they don't! everything is fairly priced, and for the quality, friendly people, and rich delicious food...who'd ever want to go somewhere else?! If you haven't tried them yet, Forget about trying Italian anywhere else, this is the place to go!
They're still working out the kinks.
I went to Piazza Italia for dinner last night with a friend. After being seated, we waited for 30 minutes for a server. Finally, we flagged down another server and asked her if she could help us or if she knew who our server was. A young server took our order and then it took about 30 minutes to get our food. That's not outrageous, but it wasn't busy at that point and our order wasn't complicated. It seems they are training their waitstaff and several of their waitstaff are a little young and inexperienced. The food was okay and the wine was fine so I'll try this place again, but it seems that for a little while you need to expect a few kinks if you dine here.
