The service and the food is great. Also the cartering is easy and the people taking calls are helpfull.
Overall I love Saladelia
love the food and the service!
Terrible food and even worse management!
Village Deli is perfect example of Location Location Location. We all have you been to a restaurant at beach or when you visit some new town there is a restaurant that is in the heart of the action. Looks inviting then you go inside and try the food, consequently are astounded how such a pathetic tasting food is served at gas gouging prices. Village Deli is it for Wake Forest. This place is Bad. REAL BAD… Wilted lettuce in salad. Hello! What appeared to be slimy old smelly cold cuts skimpy served on a huge roll. Tasteless. If I want bread I would go to a bakery. My attempt to get fresh salad was throated with rude/nasty person at register raising her voice at me. Wow… how about if I buy you a “side” of anger management classes Village Deli ?
Furthermore, this place is not a Deli not even with the furthest stretch of the imagination… I guess the thief that owns this place must know “Deli” in the name must sell. I have been told that there were others Village Deli's that went under, because of bad food and astronomical prices (winning combination). I am sure this one in Wake Forest is not far behind. Avoid this place at all cost … Do not waste your monies on bad old food that might man you sick…
Delicious, authentic Italian food. Definitely not just a deli!
You have to talk to Frank, and ask him to give you a taste of whatever he has prepared! There is so much - it's so hard to choose. I had a steak & Italian greens sandwich on his homemade bread, with a side of pasta salad. Talk about delicious! I had to take my cannoli to go - I was stuffed (but happy!).
My friend decided to "make his own sandwich". He told Frank what he wanted in it from the deli case, and Frank built it to order. It had to be 2 inches thick! And then he oinked on chips and a sweet tea!
A great place to pick up dinner, too - no need to cook in the heat! Alimentari is the BOMB!
I've never had a sandwich like this. Way oversized, grilled, excellent in every way and a very friendly staff!
They have an award for best sandiwch in the triangle. If I gave them out, they'd have another one.
Not fancy or a dating place, but definitely a don't miss.
