Hmm. My reply seems to have evaporated, so I'll post again:
The Coffin Daggers cancelled.; they were replaced by the Krektones. There's also 22 bands, not 21. As for the Cave, they have been notified. Interestingly, they have the poster (with the correct info) in the news section, but incorrect info in the calendar section. It took me a while to find the wrong stuff on thar.
Regardless, all of the up-to-date information was included in the press release I sent the Indy a while back, and I'm wondering why this wasn't used for reference. Should I be sending it to someone other than Mr. Currin? I always appreciate the exposure you folks have given the Summit--it makes a HUGE difference--but I want to make sure the stuff I send gets read.

After seeing “Guys and Dolls" for the fifth time, I think Temple Theatre has created a well-executed production. Well know songs such as “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat” and “A Bushel and a Peck” to name a few will not disappoint fans of “Guys and Dolls".
Corey Brunish, soon to be part of the cast in Broadway's “Bonnie and Clyde”, is charismatic as Sky Masterson. Award winning director and choreographer Peggy Taphorn directed this production and stars as showgirl Adelaide and does so with spot on comedic timing.

I saw these deviants years ago at 506 and they were so bad it was entertaining as hell! Adorned in Black leather jackets and sunglasses sweating and screaming and puking on the stage...alarming but amusing. I even included them in a song I wrote describing all the posters in my studio. to quote "was the worst goddamn music I ever heard, but a very cool show" Go see it. you won't ever be able to forget it.

These guys are really good to be playing locally! Three excellent musicians who can play all kinds of varieties of music. You won't be disappointed with the level of talent here. They've been playing for many years in many different bands so it seems....... I look forward to catching them whenever they're around because I like to DANCE!.

The "Bob Seger is a poor man's Bruce Springsteen" claim revaels a cursory understanding of Seger's career and the height of cliche (the very thing the reviewer ascribes to Seger). A closer look at their respective careers reveals that Seger's songs, while more modest than Springsteen's often more grandiose and sometimes political overtones, connect more intimately with his audience because of his simple yet universal themes related to real life emotions and relationships. As Bob Dylan once said "some people say that Bob Seger is a poor man's Bruce Springteen but I always thought that Bruce Springsteen was a rich man's Bob Seger."
