If you only have a few minutes to spare on the 24th, please show up just before noon so you can participate in the rally! Even if you can only be there for 10 minutes, that would mean so much for showing public support for the red wolf program
A few more details:
Location: Shelter 5 at Pullen Park, between the tennis courts and the Aquatic Center, and next to the railroad tracks
Educational event - 10am - noon - stop by any time in this window to have your questions answered about wolves and coyotes

I'll show a set of works was made in the 1990’s. Some of them were created when I was still attending Art School (School of Communication and Art of the University of São Paulo) in Brazil. They are traditional media prints: etchings, drypoints, mezzotints, silk screen and lithography. Among them are the few prints on paper where I have worked with colors. Many of them have São Paulo city subway system as the main subject. They depict details of stations, train cars or passengers in figurative or abstract ways. Starting from the actual physical places they suggest a reflection on the passengers’ psychological state of mind while commuting to work or school.

The Big Virginia Sky album has a pleasing sound that combines the energy and texture of bluegrass traditions with the refreshing and yet simple originality and song writing. The music seems to flow naturally. Lonesome River Band's Sammy Shelor was with BVS at IBMA 2016 and does appear on every track on the album. Sammy is a real pro.
Best show I've seen in awhile
My latest release features a member of the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra, as well as Autumn Rose Brand, strings and horns. And on and on. I got signed to a label out of DC for this album. "The Mayor of Estes Park". I hope you like it and I hope you all can attend. As for Frank Black, if it doesn't matter to you, it doesn't matter to me.
Does anyone know why the venue changed for this show?
I love Bazan. Nice review.
This is the release party for my new CD-aleph infinity. All sales will be donated to www.rescue.org.
This event is awesome and great for the family - bring kids to the Kid Zone! It's part of a summer-long concert series, Oak City 7, every other Thursday evening and features all local NC bands. The event is produced by Deep South Entertainment and is 100% sponsor driven. Local music, local art and food truck vendors and local beer. Perfect free, summer activity in downtown Raleigh.
Paperhand Puppet Intervention’s summer show “The Beautiful Beast”
Paperhand's 2016 summer show: "The Beautiful Beast" will take a look at the monsters and beasts that inhabit our dreams and folktales by peering through different lenses to explore the beauty, monstrousness and magic of these creatures.
Paperhand Puppet Intervention is a puppet theater company based out of Saxapahaw, NC. For over fifteen years they have been creating original large-scale puppet extravaganzas complete with giant puppets, masks, shadow puppets, stilt dancing, painted flats, live music and so much more!
Each year they write, create, build and perform a large summer pageant-play-extravaganza. These performances last about an hour, include an ensemble of professional musicians who create an original score of music and involve a cast of puppeteers, which has included as many as twenty-eight performers. Their summer extravaganza is attended by over 16,000 people!

Who painted the walls to match the paintings and what were they thinking?
If you have not seen Sarah Shook and the Disarmers, Friday night at Cats Cradle is the best time to get it done! Looking forward to seeing Blue Cactus for the first time.
This is a real decent band, saw them last year - lots of 80s and 90s stuff, professional.
Vincent Van Gogh is arguably one of the most well recognized artists EVER re: name recognition from key works. And yet many people know remarkably little about his life, or the people who believed in him and brought him to the attention of the world. I'm so excited that this play is coming to our area, and can't wait to see it!!!
An engaging, funny, powerful mess of a show. Well worth seeing. Even though it seems rather superficial at the beginning, and it is a bit episodic, but it hits some real powerful emotions in the second half. Plus, it's amazingly multi-faceted - indie guitar playing, singing, dancing, live camera work, literal man-in-the-street interviews, pre-recorded footage, a play within a play. Not to mention a wickedly wonderful soundtrack, that I want for my summer mix tape.
Please some one take me to this year's party I'd be so grateful. http://www.brantleygilberttourtickets.com/
The Stolen Hearts are good, but Eleanor Tallie isn't quite what I had hoped for last time she came to Durham. I took my girlfriend to her gig last month because I had been told it was going to be something special, but was not really impressed. I like the Stolen Hearts though so that's why I still give this a 3 Star.
