About the artist

We are thrilled to have Ron Liberti as the 2014 Best Of artist.

Liberti is an artist and musician who has been designing and printing posters for local and touring bands and events since moving to Chapel Hill in 1991. Beginning with posters for his own bands, Liberti has developed a following for his work, both in the music and the art communities; his work has been viewed worldwide.

A singer and guitarist, Liberti has performed in several Chapel Hill bands, including Pipe, the Ghost of (the British Soldier Who Loved to) Rock, Clok Lok, Victory Factory, Bringerer, Poncho Holly's Bullfight Party and Thick Pillows.

Inspiration for this cover? Springtime in beautiful Chatham County and "Let it fly in the trees and get caught in the trees."
