10 By 10 In The Triangle
The annual festival of 10 plays that run 10 minutes each continues this year, as 10 actors and 10 directors deliver a variety of tales that are sometimes comic and sometimes dramatic, but are, without fail, short. And bless 'em for that. Topics include "Oedipus: The Prequel," a bit about scoring "remedial" on a sex quiz and something set inside a fridge. No steampunk?! I am outraged. Opening-weekend performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.; the run continues Thursdays–Sundays through July 22. Tickets are $10–16; visit artscenterlive.org. —Zack Smith
