Chubby's Tacos is by far the best tacoria in the area. The food is stellar and always fresh. The staff is very friendly and professional. Outside they have a large patio area with several tables which is perfect for warm weather dinning. The outside seating area is also dog friendly. Chubby's makes a killer margarita, in fact one should be careful about drinking more than 2 of their margaritas on the rocks. I can not stress enough how great the food and service is at this amazing tacoria.

Devine's is a great ole bar to watch sports, hear music and enjoy Downtown Durham! Locals and Students both enjoy this Durham Tradition. Chuck Alford plays most Wednesday evenings, Bands on the Weekends and Sports all the time on the many many tvs

Had another wonderful time at BoneDaddys last night. I saw Tad Walters and John Lee Holeman for $1. After the show, John Holeman even helped us start a bike with his jumper cables. Can't beat that for a wednesday night.

Regarding the comment about being turned away with a pet, this is for health reasons. The Durham and Carrboro markets have the same policy.

The market has a great variety of produce, meats, seafood and more, plus experts and live music every week!

Vis Art Video in Carrborro routinely has cars towed from the lot at E. Main from poorly demarcated spots that run into the middle of the lot.

On the night I was towed for the first time in my 60 years of life, my wife and I did not percieve we were in a tow zone based on the markings, and when we got out of the ArtsCenter at 12:30 the tow trucks were pulling cars one after another from those spots.

I personally think that the grief that Vis Art causes exceeds their value in the universe and I offer this sentiment to them: "frantsn zoln dir oyf esn un din noz zol dir aropflan" (May you be consumed with syphillis and may your nose drop off). Yiddish has a way with words.

To the above comment, I was in the restaurant at the time and I would like to say that the young man's post is completely invalid. After verbally abusing two off-work employees eating pizza at the counter, he was asked to leave by the cashier due to his unruliness. After arguing with the cashier, the young man told the three individuals off and stormed out angrily. I have never had a problem with their customer service and I will continue to return.

Great pizza, bad customer service. I love their pizza usually. However after receiving a poorly made slice, I asked if there were a way to get a different or new one. They told me I was wrong and that everything was fine. After showing how the slice was not up to their standards, the young man behind the counter told me they wanted me to leave because of my negative views. Without a commotion or anyone noticing, I left and will never return. I could say bad things about them, but I feel it is more the fault of the young inexperienced boy or two behind the counter.

Since the remodel, Sparks now has a smoke free dining room. It is great! The ribs are delicious and so are the sluggers. Mama's Macaroni Salad is wonderful. Give it a try!

This is a great place. It's new and they did heck of a remodel and decorating job. It's also got a beer garden out back.

I go there mostly for the live music. They have bands on the weekend and open mic on Thursdays.

Guglhupf is one of my all time favorite places in Durham, NC and has been for about 5 + years. Everything I've ever ordered has been amazing (especially the chocolate croissants). And the prices are very reasonable too.
