Re: “Wine Authorities

If you've never been to Wine Authorities, get there ASAP. What are you waiting for? The best wine shop in the world. No kidding. Seth and Craig know their wine.

Re: “The Beehive Salon

All of the stylists are exceptional, but I have to say that I miss the receptionist with the mohawk.

Re: “Gingerbread LittleVersity

My child has been at Gingerbread LittleVersity for 3 years. Today I walked in and his teacher asked if I had a minute. Ms. Susan wanted to discuss her observations of my child with me personally. This usually happens in public school but not in a preschool setting. She went into detail about my child's adjustment to the classroom since moving up from the 2 year room three weeks ago, what he excelled at and some areas that we would work on together at home and in the classroom. To know that a teacher knows my child that well makes me feel completely confident leaving him so I may go to work everyday. Gingerbread ROCKS!

Re: “Reel Green Lawn Care

Reel Green Lawn Care is the practically the only "eco-friendly" lawn care business in Wake Count. Courtland provided great information about how to best take care of my lawn and his pricing was VERY competitive to my past lawn service. He was able to work around my schedule, which was convenient and was super quick (and quiet I might add.) I'd recommend Reel Green to anyone looking to change their lifestyle and "go green".

Try the double chocolate or the butter pecan.

Re: “Allen & Son

My favorite BBQ in the area. It's eastern NC style -- full of vinegar. The wide selection of homemade pies is also fantastic (though I rarely have room left for dessert). The hushpuppies aren't as good as at Bullock's, but I really like the Brunswick stew.

Re: “3CUPS

Best selections, great staff. Hang out with a glass of wine and a cheese plate, or a press pot and a baguette -- or buy and take home.

Re: “Padgett Station

Great decor, great shakes. Expensive. Why would anyone have redecorated this place?

Re: “Red Lotus Asian Kitchen

I really like some of the dishes on the Chinese menu here: the chicken with chestnuts, the hotpots, the vegetable dishes. The brown rice here is very tasty.

Re: “Phydeaux

Phydeaux's new location is spacious and pleasant. Lots of high end pet gear and treats, but the prices on basics are the best I've found, online or offline, for the things I buy. Friendly, helpful staff.
