Coming November 2012- Jonas Gerard Fine Art exhibit at SaxArt Gallery, Opening Reception, Sunday November 4th 2-5 pm
My wife and I have been to Piedmont several times since it opened, so I suppose our experiences have covered the history of the place. While we have never had a bad meal there, the service has always been the weak spot. Last night was the first time with the new chef. She had the clams with mint fettucini and I had the sausage penne. Both entrees were the best we have ever had at Piedmont. Dessert was retired beer malt ice cream over chocolate cake and a sourdough chocolate cake. Both were amazing. The only things keeping me from posting 5 stars are having to pay for the bread before the meal and a forgotten dessert spoon!
nice, very nice. my kind of place
I am not sure how they come up with the event listing, but we have a Featured Artist's Reception every First Sunday of the month, from 2-4pm. The reception is open to the public and we always have live music and complimentary food and wine!

Animall is Amazing! It sells quality products with profits going to support the cost of caring for its featured adoptive animals, and helps link all the local rescues, hosting adopathons and assisting with fundraising. Thank you to Jeremiah and the Animall!!
Dr. Bennett refused to treat our 15 year old sick dog because my ex husband is out of town and has the paper work for her rabies shot... There is MUCH more to this situation, but my attorney advised me not to say anything... Don't go to Legion Road Animal Clinic!!! Even if your pet has a rabies shot, they will try to sell you another one which might kill an old sick dog... The vets at New Hope treated her anyway, but thanks to Bennett it might to too late.... If she dies the blood will be on Bennett's hands.... The 4 other clinics I spoke to said they would have treated her first, then worried about her paperwork later...
Great pizza and great, friendly staff... they get it right on all fronts!
Don't waste your time because the staff certainly won't "waste" time on you. Terrible service and terrible vibe. Seems like they hire people who look like wait staff but after spending some time there, I think they are just hired to make the place look like they actually have patrons and you still can't get anyone to serve a damn drink.
Machu Picchu is a wonderful restaurant experience. The menu is varied and all of the ingredients are clearly fresh. Chefs Gloria and Victor make a point to come out of the kitchen to visit their customers and will guide any patrons who are new to Peruvian cuisine. Dishes range from seafood to chicken to steak. Two of our favorites are the seafood Jalea and the Aji de Pollo (chicken). The seasoning is divine - incredibly flavorful - and not necessarily spicy. Chef Gloria also makes delicious authentic Peruvian desserts. They are made with fruits and spices imported from Peru and taste like nothing you have encountered before. If you enjoy good food, Machu Picchu is a MUST. We cannot praise this restaurant enough!
This photography organization is the hottest thing in the Triangle's arts scene. They are internationally celebrated and now have a project space right here in the Triangle! Their events are great fun and filled with incredible and inspiring visual content. I have nothing but good things to say about Daylight and their Project Space in downtown Hillsborough!!
The service was terrible! My friend and I wanted to taste a couple wines before buying and the owner had an attitude from the beginning. We then purchased 2 glasses for $15.50. I gave her a $50 bill and she gave me change in mostly $1 bills. When I counted it later and again this morning, she kept $10 from me!! The owner and her husband STOLE money from me, the Customer!!!
I recommend NO ONE give her business and if you do, count your money carefully. She's a sneak!!!

Thanks, Samantha! I've put in the official website and Twitter account.
Elmo's Diner of Carrboro's official website can be found at elmosdinercarrboro.com!
I was at the Bavarian Brathaus on Friday June 22nd and they had the Oompah Trio playing the chicken dance with several adults and children dancing in the aisles. What a great show we enjoyed our dinner, our beer, and the live music.
Congratulations on 35 years in the Triangle!
Phenomenal pizza!! Crust is just the right balance of chewy, firm, sweet. Toppings are mind blowing. Flavor meld in your mouth is.....just go and experience for yourself!!
Re: “Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store”
My husband and I ate at the Roadhouse recently and the meal was tasty and the service was superb!! While there were the usual hiccups on opening day, they have worked out all the bugs and our dining experience was most pleasant. This restaurant is NOTHING like the old General Store Cafe; not only in decor but in particular with the food and service. They have continued not only the music nights but have continued to be involved with benefit events and recently sponsored a "Meet and greet" buffet where folks could come and meet our elected officials. They are offering 10% off your meal from now until election day if you wear your "I voted today" sticker. We love it that Greg Lewis also supports local farmers to supply some of the food used in their menus. You rock Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store!!!
