Re: “Red for Cure: A Forum on Black Women & HIV Cure

I have heard of him before, but after watching his documentary healing spell I was turned on to the full story

about Dr uwa. He is a man who has the Cure for AIDS,Cancer, Sickle Cell, Herpes, warts,HPV,ALS Diabetes and every kind of

illness, through a whole foods vegetarian diet and natural herbs, what he calls Electric Foods. He went to herbal school college,

and has thousands of testimonials of healing people with Herpes, HIV AIDS, and HPV several other

illnesses. Lisa Left Eye Lopes of TLC was cured of Herpes by him and she was so moved by his knowledge that she went on

to spread the word about him in every way she could. She also opened a Cultural/Healing Center for Children in USA

before she passed away tragically. This all inspired me that i had to contact Dr uwa, because i was having Herpes

which could not be cure but was only managed, when i contacted Dr. uwa, he sent me some herbs which i took, and now i can tell you, i have be totally cured of Herpes, My Name is Jasmine, I am from the South Carolina, Please if you have any form

of illness especially STD,Infertility,HIV etc. you can contact him immediately through his Email Address

Re: “The INDY Endorses Mike Morgan for N.C. Supreme Court

Judge Edmunds is an experienced but humble NC Supreme Court Justice who has been re-elected multiple times because he represents the majority of NC citizens. If you have conservative values and want the Constitution of NC to be followed, not revised by PC judicial activists, then Vote FOR Edmunds!

Re: “Red for Cure: A Forum on Black Women & HIV Cure

I am Kenneth Amanda From Texas U S A I want to thank God for using Dr. YAYA to restore my life back with his herbal medicine, i was HIV positive for two years and every day i cry to God as life was draining out of me, and i was so worried. I was searching the internet when I found a lot of good testimonies about Dr YAYA who have saved many lives and families. i was so desperate of getting my own good testimony about the disease that almost took my life because I could not work anymore and I was losing a lot of money for drugs, so i decided to contact Dr yaya and i explained everything to him and he assured me not to worry. He told me about some items which i couldn't get in my country so i sent him the money which he used to get the items and he prepared a herbal cure which he sent to me and on that faithful day when i received the herbal medicine from Dr yaya i was very happy and i started to use it, then he mailed me to go for checkup in two weeks time... To my greatest suprise i was tested HIV negative wow, even the doctor was suprised and told me to connect him with dr yaya for more info, it was a day of celebration and one i will never forget... So if have any diseases been of any kind, relationship problem the great DR YAYA is there to help you visit him through his email: or contact him through his website :

Re: “The INDY’s Endorsements for Wake County Offices and the Sales Tax Referendum

I would also like to see 2Lionsrock's questions about the transit referendum answered. I would like to vote yes on this since I recognize how important commuter rail and buses will be in the coming years. But, I also want to know to what extent this tax will effect me personally.

The same reason you're scrutinizing a local free newspaper instead of fixing every other problem in the world?

Re: “Mind the Food Gap: Who Does Farm-to-Table Serve?

Why are you scrutinizing local growers without any mention of the massive federal subsidies for corn and animal feed, as well as beef and poultry production, which have created the absurdity of the $1 hamburger and $8 bunch of kale in the first place?

Re: “The INDY Endorses Hillary Clinton for President

So, please refresh my memory... "Indy" is shorthand for what was it exactly? Oh yes, "independent"! As in "independent thought", "independent analysis", and so on.

One would imagine "independent analysis" might lead to the inevitable conclusion that it's not, in fact, in the interests of the working people to hand supreme authority to someone who is 1) an outrageously corrupt Wall Street crony; 2) the immediate family member of another President; 3) demonstrated to have rigged elections, disenfranchising her own Party's voters; 4) who has aggressively pushed for the destruction of multiple independent Arab societies by arming and funding radical islamic militias to destabilize their governments (the people living there be damned); 5) who has been behind every neoliberal trade deal and backward economic policy that comes up; 6) who has been behind every neocon war, and backed every antidemocratic coup and criminal assassination that U.S. imperialist interests can devise; 7) who is best friend of the repressive Saudi dictatorship (while posturing as a principled champion of gay and women's rights), and of the Nazi-oligarch Ukraine coup; and 8) who incessantly shouts to anyone who will listen her outrageous neo-McCarthyite anti-Russian nonsense.

Because, clearly, the biggest problems for working people in this country? They have all been caused by Putin! Unemployment? That was Putin. Destabilization of the Middle East? Putin. Financial policy that crashed the global economy? Putin again. Massive giveaway to the bloated parasitic insurance industry known variously as Romneycare, Obamacare and the Heritage Foundation's health care plan of '89? Putin. Brutal unaccountable police state that regularly murders its citizens, including women and children, in the streets, year in and year out? Putin there too. Corrupt Democratic Party disenfranchising it's own voters? "Putin made us do it!" Imported al-Nusra terrorists have not done the job of taking out Assad quickly enough so that a corrupt US puppet regime might have been installed by now? Oh, wait... that one Russia actually seems to have something to do with.

Enough is enough. Uncritically shilling for the most corrupt representatives of bourgeois liberalism is not an act of "independence", nor is it a confidence-inspiring recognition of the social and political state of things relatable to anyone beyond the trivial affluent middle class dog-whistle crowd to whom you seem content to restrict your circulation.

Re: “Wake Republican Who Voted for HB 2 Now Wants You to Know He's a Champion for LGBT Rights

This is getting ridiculous. Can we just take all of the signs off of all restrooms and get it over with already? Let anyone go to which ever restroom they want to go to.

Re: “66 Reasons Not to Vote for Pat McCrory

Engaging article. Great documentation that's hard to argue with is presented in a creative way! However, I might disagree that McCrory is the worst governor in America. I think Kentucky's Matt Bevin would give him a run for that title!

Re: “Richard Burr's Not So Keen on the Right to a Fair Trial

Other than his uninspired monthly newsletter, which requires a subscription, the only time we hear from Sen. Burr is during election cycles. He is well known for keeping his head down and dependably following the instructions handed to him by Republican leadership. NC voters have the opportunity to replace an empty suit with a thinking individual who has a demonstrated work ethic. I hope we don't let it pass us by.

Re: “Evangelicals in the Age of Trump (Or, Why I Was Called a ‘Jew-Boy’ at a Franklin Graham Rally)

A new label comes to mind: CHINO (Christian in Name Only). Most Christian sects instruct adherents to not surrender to the impulse to hate. However, as also occurs with Judaism and Islam, such admonishment does not deter some people on the fringe from inventing versions of their religion's teachings that justify their personal prejudices, even to the point of condoning murder.

Re: “Red Wolf Advocates Accuse the Feds of Lying to Justify Their ‘Cowardly New Plan’

the Population Viability Analysis (PVA) report indicated that in a worst-case scenario, the captive red wolf population of 200 animals had a 0.5% chance of extinction over the next 125 years. Compare that to the FWS assertions that the captive population was at serious risk...hard to conclude anything other than they were lying...
