Heading to Durham on Friday for Solas. If you're not Irish, these guys will make you wish you were.

Re: “The week in music: May 8-15, 2013

This may seem picky but in the Krakenfest write-up, there is a geographical error. Hwy 54 runs from Carrboro to Saxapahaw and then Graham but never to Pittsboro. Pittsboro is off 15-501 or Hwy 64. Thanks.

Re: “The week in music: May 1-8, 2013

Read the Dylan review carefully. Heard him 3X in last 10 yrs. and his voice is unintelligble! He's completely overwhelmed by the volume of his band. Why is that? BTW-no bigger fan than me. 1st heard Blowin' in the Wind on a jukebox in Oct. '63, and have admired and appreciated him ever since. But pay $70. to not understand what song he's singing? Please.

Oh, and why is Rush not listed?

It's a travesty not to have Besnard Lakes show at Cat's Cradle tonight on this list.

Re: “The week in music: Feb. 13-20, 2013

Cashed Up Kris: The Cave's website, http://www.caverntavern.com/, lists the show, presented by Kings. Slim's website, http://www.slimsraleigh.com/, doesn't. (Confusion caused by The Cave/Slim's dual ownership?)

I apologize; my self-righteousness has turned to embarrassment. I'll go get my eyes checked.
Thanks for the response!
