Re: “Selling cool

You obviously are incredibly lame. Game rebellion is original, amazing and obviously way beyond your comprehension. You say nothing about their music and are judging them solely on their personal style which is obviously hot. Curb your jealousy please.

Re: “Selling cool

How about "Judgemental Music Journalist Cool"? I think you forgot that one...Careful of putting people in neat little categories and turning them into cartoon characters that you manipulate with your words...it's cheap and easy, but not very honest or real, and not really even very entertainig. Mostly just annoying.

Re: “Our band is AWESOME

Respect to The Twilight Sad, who played a full on set of blistering, moody BritPop at Kings, opening for Mary Timony last week. They pushed the sound system, to levels only the British can do, it sounded great! The band made me twitch with the thought I was in a sold out major club (maybe The Fillmore or Felt Forum) to an audience of a dozen of so. I can envision these guys opening for Radiohead someday, backstage celebs et al.... Kings was definitely the hoped for warm up....
