It was Boo's Hideaway, not Blues Hideaway. Otherwise, great article!
These guys do to music what The Friday After Next did to Friday.... Best thing out of NC since Cheerwine! I just hope they bring a six pack of Fat Tire up to dc on their next visit! BLACK SHARK =Best album of 2011 by a landslide.
MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT THEIR WEB SITE (I made it) www.kooleyhigh.com
Put a shirt on, you look like a raper of children! <3 <3 <3
ok, here'a the funny part...Hank Williams has always been cool to DN and has always had our back. The reason DN hasn't got paid for playing some house shows has been because most of the time the money has gone to the touring band. I agree with the last comment...his shit talking has more to say about him than his negative comments about everything else. Ha, talk about not shitting where you eat.
This latter-day opprobrium directed at bands long past is a bunch of crap. "A Number of Things" was never meant to be cool, important or, for that matter, relevant two decades hence... it was meant for screaming and dancing. I heard them when I was 17 and they sorta scared me, and I thought they rocked. Talking shite about those guys now says way more about Walsby than it does about them.
Hey Rick, thanks so much. Give us a ring sweettmcb@yahoo.com

"Pageant Square" is one of my all-time favorite local songs. Sepia-core!
