. Community members mourned the loss of its Station, especially, a hub for free music and rowdy, low-frills fun. Today, Andrew Moore, owner of the nearby restaurant Venable

Right now, Moore and his crew are hustling to upgrade The Station to open by mid-March. Those new flourishes include a re-finished bar and floor, fresh paint, additional draught selections and more. Moore hopes to bring bigger shows to the stage a few times a year, too, perhaps drawing attention to what could sometimes seem an overlooked Carrboro attraction.
