Wine Authorities co-owner to launch Bull City Burger and Brewery

Posted by Lisa Sorg on Mon, Aug 23, 2010 at 12:18 PM

If you're a Wine Authorities regular, then you know co-owner Seth Gross, who is always glad to steer customers to bold, new potions or old favorites.

Gross announced today another bold venture: He plans to open Bull City Burger and Brewery at 107 E. Parrish St., within the Rogers Alley project in downtown Durham. Opening date is scheduled for February 2011.

The hamburgers and hotdogs will be made from North Carolina grass-fed beef, and the buns, mustard, ketchup and pickles will either be made from scratch or purchased locally. The beer will be brewed onsite at the restaurant's full-scale brewery; a careful selection of wine, obviously, will also be on the drink menu.

Gross said he will remain an active co-owner of Wine Authorities.
